The value for money is top-notch; those who complain want to have their cake and eat it, as they say in Tuscany. Honest prices like that aren't even found in campsites on the island, which has become almost inaccessible. Le Venelle is a somewhat basic place, for those with no expectations and who know they've spent little. Spending little also means not expecting the best. There were 16 of us, four apartments. Everything was fairly new, a few broken pieces here and there, but who cares? Two barbecue grills and free firewood available, and tables outside. The place is surrounded by greenery in the countryside. The only real flaw is that the sofa beds are very uncomfortable. Ideal for groups of friends and families with no expectations, who want to enjoy the island without spending a fortune.
