A place of my heart ♥️ Excellent Piacenza cuisine and a warm welcome, attentive but never intrusive. It's always a pleasure to eat here, both for the delicious and carefully prepared dishes and for the great kindness of the owner and all the staff. If you're looking for quality traditional cuisine, this is the perfect place!

Everything was delicious, from the welcome appetizer offered by the house, to the first courses with pisarei e faso and tortellini, up to the braised beef with polenta. 5 ⭐️

Business lunch. The reviews were spot on this time: we were greeted with a few welcome plates of mixed cold cuts and chickpeas, olives and spring onions, and a glass of white wine. We all opted for a second course: Storo polenta with gorgonzola, simply sublime, not a single lump, the perfect consistency to blend with the gorgonzola. The others chose pork cheek with polenta, one of which was with horse meat, and the meat melted on the plate because it was so tender. The portions were just right, verging on generous, so much so that we forwent dessert early on, with great regret. With coffee, they served what I called a "goodbye" (after the initial welcome), consisting of mandarin oranges, peanuts in their pods, and truly delicious cantuccini biscuits. The service was courteous and professional. If I could offer a few suggestions, I'd renovate the restrooms, clarify whether the welcome and farewell service is offered by the house, included in the cover charge, or paid for in some way, and perhaps address the coffee making process. It's not exactly great, but I'm not sure if that's due to the blend or the machine. In any case, if we're in the area again, we'll definitely return to this restaurant.
