For a perfect evening, we returned to this place. The atmosphere is welcoming, as always, and the ambiance even more pleasant.
The service was impeccable: fast, attentive, and the staff were extremely kind and friendly. The waiters were always available and smiling, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Compliments to the entire staff at Le Scalette: the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere were top-notch. Excellent value for money, definitely worth considering. I highly recommend it for an evening with friends or family.

Well, I'm starting this review like this because, I swear, it was my exclamation when my boyfriend decided to take me there for dinner on Saturday night. It was a spur-of-the-moment decision, so without a reservation (which I recommend), they found us a table. It's a truly wow-worthy place, close to the sea, with a perfectly romantic atmosphere. The only downside is the slightly high prices for the pizzas, but overall, they're well worth the money. Everyone, from Crotone or elsewhere, should try it at least once.

Beautiful and well-kept atmosphere with a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. I had the raw fish and it was really good!
Compliments also to the young man in the dining room. He's polite and kind, you can tell he enjoys his job and his workplace!

Fried fish reheated in the microwave before serving...vintage red mullet.

We stumbled upon this restaurant in the city center by chance (and not on the boulevard as mentioned in one of the previous reviews!). The salads and pizzas were delicious. Good value for money. The staff seemed stressed and, in my opinion, inefficient, but they were friendly. It was busy; we were probably the only foreign tourists, which always suits us very well.

I've tried the downtown location, both for takeout and dine-in, and I can say the pizza is one of the best, if not the best, in the area. I can't fault either the seafood (seafood and squid ink) or the meat (Calabrese) pizzas I've tried.
The prices are 10-15% higher than many other places, but you understand why once you sit down and eat.
If you want to nitpick, the waiters wander around the tables a bit too much during service and seem anxious about clearing the table as soon as you take your last bite.

We ate well.
In our opinion, the prettiest location on the Crotone seafront.
Carefully prepared dishes, using fresh ingredients.
Decent wine list.
The staff were well-trained, but in our opinion perhaps a bit too formal.
They seemed more like bodyguards than waiters.
