The restaurant is a bit basic, but if it paid attention to aesthetics, it would be top-notch. The lunch was good and plentiful, and the price was below average. The welcome was warm.

It would seem easy to write a review and give top marks to everything. But in Maurizio's case, and only in his case, I feel like giving him top marks because he has chosen the most difficult path to do his job. All restaurants, especially those specializing in fish, have reduced the number of tables, changed the furnishings, and thus have crowned themselves chic restaurants. Maurizio, instead, has chosen to welcome people, making them feel at home without frills and chatter, giving them excellent food without fleecing them. Today I ordered excellent spaghetti allo scoglio, and given the enormous portion of the first course, I ordered a half portion of fried fish. I thank Mrs. Anna who, with kindness and skill, considered that I had not booked and considering that the restaurant was full, accommodated me anyway. Best wishes for the future go to Maurizio and his son who is starting his career. I promise to visit it again soon, Alessandro Santoro today, September 12th I returned with my wife to Maurizio and as you can see from the photos, in addition to the excellent appetizers we ordered a first course (to eat for two) and the roast fish. I don't want to be repetitive, the restaurant doesn't need my reviews, but, if you find a place, go and try Maurizio's cuisine and you will be happy.
