Excellent dining experience! The zucchini alla scapece were perfect (my favorite) and the wood-fired chicken was particularly good and flavorful. A wide selection of other dishes as well. Delicious calzones and fried foods. Friendly and attentive customers, especially since I can't eat mozzarella, and the owner made me an express calzone without it, even though it was crowded. The place also reminds me of the family-run rotisserie shops of the past, when I used to have a snack with my grandfather.

Historic institution of the Trieste district, "Africano" area. The best spit-roasted chickens in Rome can be found here. Old-fashioned, family-run rotisserie, with perfect rustic fries and pizzas. Homemade cuisine, traditional and generous, to take away. The bill is always good.
