Le Pizzecate In San cesario di lecce

Excellent choice in San Cesario de Lecce. We ordered some fries and the burrata, mortadella, and pistachio pizza, and it was a delicacy. Very attentive and friendly. We ate there; there are two small tables outside. Many people came to place their orders. We would eat here again.

A wonderful little place in a small Italian town! We had dinner here several times and tried different pizzas each time – one with traditional dough and one gluten-free. Both were amazing, and the gluten-free pizza was by far the best I’ve ever had in Italy! The staff were incredibly kind, we always got a table on the patio, and the owner was genuinely delighted to welcome visitors from Poland. Each time we were treated to limoncello and grappa, which made us feel truly special. Nowhere else in Italy have we experienced such warm hospitality. Highly recommended – and if we return to Puglia, we’ll definitely come back!

An exceptional welcome During our vacation in Salento, I can't help but mention, in addition to the beauty of the places, the ability of some people to inspire kindness and gratitude. In a small village, San Cesario, there's "Le Pizzecate," a restaurant serving Apulian specialties. We were their customers throughout our vacation. Every evening we were greeted with warmth, professionalism, and delicious dishes. Every evening we felt welcome. Giuseppe, Nicoletta, Assunta, and the others whose names I don't know—what delightful people! It was our first time at this pizzeria, but we really enjoyed it. The pizza is thin-crust, but delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is welcoming and has a family atmosphere, making you feel right at home. It's a great place to enjoy a good pizza with friends, in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Recommended!

Discovered on September 8th upon our arrival in Lecce, this pizzeria is a gem. Giuseppe is generous, attentive, and talented! His pizzas are delicious and as generous as he is.
