If you want to experience the taste of fresh fish, this is where you need to come. One of the few in Portoferraio! Try it to believe it. The seafood carbonara is a must-try. Fantastic. Very welcoming and friendly staff who are able to welcome you immediately even though they are working on a full table. Best in Portoferraio.

Here's where to eat in Portoferraio! Chosen for the "short" menu. A few well-made dishes. There are also off-menu options, depending on the day's spending. We had a second helping of the fried anchovies and shrimp. Carefully presented, excellent service. Excellent Elba Bianco. Reasonable prices.

We tried it for lunch on a weekday in early September. The trattoria is very small and family-run, with only a few seats outside under a covered pergola (which was essential since we had lunch during a downpour). We ate really well; the first courses were plentiful and tasty. The staff was cheerful and friendly, despite the challenging situation as it never stopped pouring. Fair prices, central location, highly recommended for those looking for a casual, unpretentious atmosphere where they can eat very well and feel at home.

You absolutely must try the "penne in barca" (penne in barca), a real discovery! Overall, the food was good. The location itself wasn't anything special, but the staff was super welcoming and friendly. Prices, in our opinion, as with the rest of the island, were high for the food, but still average.

Lovely home cooked food, simple and tasty. Server was wonderful and wise (he predicted it would rain the next day and all the weather apps said the opposite). Cozy atmosphere and not touristy at all.

A wonderful experience! The two owners immediately welcomed us into a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. They're also pet-friendly. We highly recommend the mixed seafood platter of the day, it's amazing! The food was excellent, as was the service. We can't wait to go back!
