Le Dune Mare In

Even though I live a few hundred meters from the restaurant, I had recently visited it and found it excellent. However, yesterday I was disappointed after booking a table. I left my house to go and take the table I had reserved. I received a phone call canceling the reservation, offering excuses. Naturally, I wasn't happy. What could have been the reason? Surely to make room for other reservations, perhaps with more seats. Could this lack of seriousness only happen to a restaurant that until recently didn't even exist for me?

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The pizza is good.

I think these pizzas speak for themselves; they deserve nothing more than to be introduced: Arugula and Parmigiana 2.0. If you're a pizza lover, especially a contemporary pizza, what are you waiting for? Try it without hesitation. As the saying goes, "All tastes have their own tastes," but it's unlikely anyone will find fault with this culinary masterpiece, both in terms of aesthetics and flavor. Everything is superb, in a place that is in perfect harmony with the quality they bring to the table. Congratulations!

Absolutely Outstanding Dining Experience at Dune – San Leone, Agrigento, Sicily We had an unforgettable meal at Dune in San Leone with our lovely friends — truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had! The setting was stunning, right by the sea, with a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere that perfectly captures the spirit of Sicily. We ordered a selection of fresh fish dishes, and every single one was exceptional — perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. You can truly taste the freshness and quality of the seafood. Each bite reflected the chef’s passion and skill, and it’s no exaggeration to say these were the best fish dishes we’ve ever had. The service was warm, attentive, and genuine — the staff made us feel so welcome and took time to explain the menu and local specialties. The combination of outstanding food, great service, and a beautiful seaside location made for an experience we’ll remember for a long time. The chef even invited into the immaculately clean and well organised kitchen to get an insight about how things work behind the scenes. Truly amazing. If you’re anywhere near San Leone, Dune is an absolute must-visit. We can’t wait to return!

Excellent pizza, service and view.

We also had lobster with noodles. It seems this is always the daily special. The service was good, and the dishes recommended by the reviews were also good. It was quite busy, but not crowded.

The vegetarian pizza was delicious. The base was so fluffy, the best pizza I've ever eaten. Perfecto. The salad was okay. Tiramisu was also delicious. I found it really annoying that the employee wanted to seat us in a very awkward corner, even though we were very smartly dressed. We immediately declined and were given a nice table. Since we had already chosen our meal on the website and immediately told her we could order, and approached her three more times, she took 15 minutes to take our order. She never smiled, completely serious, so actually very friendly. The waiter who brought us our food was very friendly. The fact that the restaurant is very close to the campsite is a great advantage. The next day, we ordered our food by phone and picked it up after 10 minutes. Beautiful ambiance right on the beach
