Le due Querce In Zoagli

An excellent dinner in a truly enchanting location. I dined at this fantastic restaurant for my boyfriend's sixth anniversary. We had a great time, and the food was delicious. We ate with a view of Rapallo. If I were to return to Rapallo, I would almost certainly eat here again!

A particular menu in my taste, perhaps a little too tasty

Let me start by saying, "Fantastic Location." As a Ligurian, I can say my heart sank as I looked out from the terrace where the dining room is located. Let's move on to the menu. Good selection, with some tantalizing "off-menu" options. Personally, I ordered: Appetizer Mussels Parmigiana, I think the best I've tasted so far, generously seasoned and perfectly gratinated. The portion was also excellent, leaving no regret that "it would have been better if there had been more." Main course Fried calamari and prawns, dry, crispy, and well-salted. Again, a decent portion with a good mix of varieties. Personally, I would have liked a few more prawns, but again, that's purely subjective. Dessert Chocolate Caprese with salted caramel glaze, absolutely excellent, served slightly warm, highlighting the cocoa flavor, which was contrasted by the saltiness of the caramel with a subtle yet decisive presence. I also tried the octopus with potatoes, which was very good. I think its simplicity makes it a difficult dish to present because the ingredients are few and the raw materials must be of high quality. The grilled fish was a good variety, cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, we weren't able to linger too long because the small children were starting to get tired. We'll definitely be back...
