Everything was good, both in the food, the portions were generous, the service and the kindness were excellent. The only thing I found was that to go to the terrace for lunch on the steps there is no handrail and for a person who has problems walking it is not very easy.

Typical Tuscan restaurant. The tagliatelle with wild boar ragù were excellent, as was the wild boar stew with fried polenta. As for the appetizers, I expected something more substantial. The service was average.

When we were in the area we often dined here. Unfortunately, less good than other times, dishes with less strong flavours, staff always polite and kind.

È un ristorante trattoria, semplice....da "cacciatori" e proprio per quello ci si sente a casa. Insieme alle ragazze e a Moira la titolare. Basta scambiare due parole con il sorriso e...se possibile verrete coccolati. Con piccole attenzioni o magari qualcosa fuori menù. Basta chiedere 😉 Cantina interessante a partire dal vino sfuso (quello bianco delizioso). Piatti ottimi senza fronzoli. Si mangia bene. Sia la frittura di pesce, sia la tagliata...i primi con il cinghiale...insomma ci si sta volentieri. Brave!

Very tasty food, courteous service and extremely nice owner. There is regional food and regional wine in an authentic ambience. We would love to come back. All of this at very fair prices. Simply great 👍👍👍

03/06/2025: Typical cuisine with a simple but tasty menu. We particularly appreciated the pappardelle with wild boar ragù and their magnificent artisanal cantucci.
03/05/2025: Really great food. Waitresses super helpful and also prepared with advice. Truly impeccable service throughout our dinner. Great price for the quality of the food. Welcoming and well-kept place both inside and outside.

31/05/2025: Perhaps Italians have higher standards than German tourists. We really enjoyed our meal here. The food (panchetta, salami, typical prosciutto crudo, pappardelle al cinghiale, melanzane alla parmigiana) was excellent and reasonably priced. We also had a Vino della Casa and a bottle of mineral water. The waitress was more than friendly, and we were even allowed to park our e-bikes at the fence. Conclusion: As German tourists, we highly recommend La Taverna!
30/05/2025: Very cozy, large garden. Friendly service. Small snacks.
