I went to Capranica Prenestina to the Mosciarella chestnut festival. In the square all the local products including cheeses, chestnuts, polenta flours and LANE PELOSE flour, a mix of 1 flour and wholemeal flour used to make pasta. Fruit and sour cherry jams. Honey and much more. For lunch we went to this farmhouse where the pasta is made by them and various types of meat all cooked on exposed grill. Advised.

The location is really beautiful, the staff friendly and attentive. There are fixed price or à la carte menus, in both cases everything is very good and for all tastes. If you want to spend a cool and quiet evening, don't miss this farmhouse.

We only stopped for one night, before venturing to MagicLand, only about thirty minutes away. The road to get there is not the most comfortable, but once you arrive, the landscape that presents itself is a postcard. Quiet and peace certainly reign there, however, if you want to take a tour along the lake, arm yourself with mosquito repellents. Even if you want to eat or sleep, mosquito repellent must never be missing. As far as cooking is concerned, my fettuccine with mushrooms tasted like nothing!!! Even a simple bruschetta with cherry tomatoes had no flavor. My wife and son were luckier. The breakfast, however, was not bad. Reception staff, cold (I think it's the owner), but it doesn't matter, because we shouldn't eat together!!! I really don't think we will ever return!!!!!!
