Truly typical and excellent products

Delicious cooked to perfection local food, beautiful atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. We had one of the polentas for primo between two, and then stinco di maiale and the cervo for secondo, so so delicious and well cooked. Impressive wine list and waiter was super helpful and knowledgeable assisting us to choose a local wine. Make sure you book your table, I wouldn't want to miss this place if I'm in Aosta!

An evening with friends turned into a truly authentic experience, dining in the "crotta" (old cellar) and enjoying good wine. This is the essence of this place, where tradition meets innovation. I personally found everything excellent, from the lard to the cotechino, and finally the tripe made just like grandma's! Highly recommended!

A truly excellent restaurant. The service, food, and location are truly worthy. Returned after a couple of years, and I absolutely have to confirm, if not raise, my rating of Trattoria di montagna. It's now a safe haven for excellent dining in Aosta. The service is always friendly yet professional. The atmosphere is quaint; the basement dining room is a sight to behold.
