Le stelle a disposizione sono decisamente troppo poche!!! Semplicemente non può esistere un posto che offra cibo migliore di questo. Adesso vado a vedere se qualcuno ha messo recensioni negative, dopo di che vado a picchiarlo. Avevo deciso che prima di morire avrei mangiato un piatto di pane frattau (sono intollerante al glutine) ma qui me ne hanno servito un bel piattone senza glutine, che era indistinguibile da quelli con, anzi, era il più buono dell'universo!!! Da ora non c'è più bisogno di morire!!!

The Zia Marianna 1936 dairy bistro is located in the final part of Corso Garibaldi. Typical restaurant, with a few tables, which recalls the ancient Nuoro trattorias of some of the first half of the last century. Welcoming atmosphere, with friendly, helpful and ready staff for dialogue. On the walls hang paintings depicting black and white images of ancient Nuoro; really very interesting. The menu is full of dishes that recall the traditions of Barbagia. We tasted a nice platter of cured meats, pecorino and goat's cheeses which was truly exciting; all accompanied by glasses of excellent Mandrolisai. As regards the cutting board, the following deserve a mention: - Villagrande ham - Bitti pillow To finish, a slice of ricotta and apple cake. Good quality/price ratio

Ambiente informale e una cucina sfiziosa con molti classici della tradizione nuorese. Vivamente consigliato il pane frattau. Personale cortese, ma un po' assente.

If you go to Nuoro, a stop here is a must. Excellent food, at great prices, generous portions and warm, welcoming service! I gave fewer stars for the environment, because, being a historic dairy, I expected a recovery of the ancient spaces or some element that would tell us what the dairy was like in the past. However, if this aspect is present and I missed it, then I apologize, but it would really be an added value for the place. Also exploiting this historical dimension would make it even more special, giving it back the value it deserves in the eyes of the public. At the moment, this value can be found entirely in the food, which best represents the tradition of the area.
