A tip from connoisseurs! If you appreciate simple, authentic seafood, you've come to the right place! Everything is fresh daily and served directly to your table. Everyone gets the same portion, and on some days, you even get seconds. And all for just €15! No wonder there's always people queuing in the street waiting for a table!

Always excellent! Traveling extensively, I've tried a wide variety of seafood cuisines, from south to north, each time traditional dishes in trattorias and restaurants of every kind. Visiting L'Astice, with Pasquale and Maria's cuisine, always kind and welcoming, is an excellent experience: the quality, quantity, and price are unmatched. The fish is always fresh. The flavors and colors of the sea! The various dishes on the weekly menu are all worth trying, and then there's the Sunday or holiday lunch, with its wealth of delicious dishes! A must-try for anyone who loves authentic, good seafood.

If you go to L'Astice, don't expect refined cuisine and an exclusive atmosphere, and that's probably their strength. There's no choice, except for the (good and plentiful) specials of the day. There's little space between tables, no air conditioning. The atmosphere and service are informal. Prices are reasonable.

We're on vacation in Roseto degli Abruzzi. A friend recommended it to us, so we came to the L'astice restaurant.
We've been back for the second time.
Reservations are not possible; you can dine from 12:00 PM to 2:45 PM.
The fixed menu is €15 per person, with two options: seafood or meat.
As fish lovers, we chose the latter.
The dishes are excellent and flavorful, and there's also a second course.
For the second course, you can choose between stewed fish or fried fish.
The fish is incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection.
The side salad is also included.
It's usually crowded, but the service is fast.
The staff is extremely kind and attentive.
Wine, soft drinks, water, and cover charge are included in the price.
Highly recommended.

Abbiamo mangiato il 1 Maggio in questo ristorante. Il menù proposto è stato ottimo. Pesce fresco e abbondante. Vino della casa ottimo. Proprietaria veramente gentile e accogliente come il resto del personale. Consigliato!!
