A perfect formula for burgers to be eaten standing up, leaning against high tables. My favorite is the A10 at €10.00. Good value for money. To drink I suggest MoleCola zero. Advised.

Contrary to what is written in many reviews, the serving time of the dishes was normal. Superlative sandwiches!

I went to this burger shop with a couple of friends, the place is nice and quite quiet (the big one with the tables outside).
Let me start by saying that we were there during the week so we did not experience the delays in service that I have read in other reviews, in fact they were quite quick and kind.
As for the food, however, I admit that none of the 4 of us were extremely enraptured by the flavours.
Let's start with the menu, which is really interesting when you read the combination of ingredients, especially the special sandwiches. Everyone inspired me. The problem is that we tried 4 of them and the taste, as I said, wasn't that great. Almost all with an aftertaste of some burnt ingredient. We thought it was the fault of the burger itself, since it was the only thing everyone had in common (or the bread, but I don't know).
As for the fried foods, they were all well done and crunchy, but even them, excluding the very good potato croquette, the rest were nothing special. We took a fried special which practically includes all the fried foods on the menu, plus two chips (the ones with meatballs and the ones with melted cheddar). In short, all good, but not very good. Lots of salt everywhere.
Average bill in my opinion, around 20 euros each with a 0.4l beer and 3 brick waters. I didn't quite understand what they meant by "cover" since there wasn't even cutlery at the table... those €2 each have no point in actually existing.
What about "handsome but he doesn't dance"? Maybe that's the best description. Because it's all very presentable and instagrammable, but quite mediocre to eat...

We returned to L'Assassino because my teenager and I had a great meal there last summer. We remembered and craved the hamburgers! The meat is top quality, much more delicious than the burgers we typically find in the U.S. We found the taste again, wonderful. Perfectly cooked, delicious toppings like prepared eggplant, caramelized onions, etc., bread rolls soft and tasty. The fries are thin and crispy, served hot, really enjoyable. But we did notice that the like many other restaurants = prices have gotten higher, portions smaller. For example, there was only one piece of bacon on the burger with bacon, and a tiny round of provola. It's a bit annoying to have to pay extra for condiments like ketchup, mayo or mustard - especially as we are accustomed to having that kind of thing included. In all, 22.5 € for two fairly basic burgers, a bottle of water, and a single portion of fries to share. All in all, it's not terribly expensive for the food quality, but it's also not terribly affordable for a takeaway window. In summary: If you are craving a great tasting burger and fries after a day at the beach - and you want it fast and on your feet - or a cushioned stair on the street below Bar Trani - it's definitely worth a visit. But just know what to expect in terms of value. I'd give it 3.5 stars if Trip Advisor would let me but rounded up to 4 :)

Consigliato!
