The entrance to the restaurant immediately reveals a meticulously crafted architectural structure, characterized by wooden beamed ceilings. The most visually striking element is the central wood and iron spiral staircase connecting the ground floor to the spacious mezzanine area, an architectural detail I particularly appreciated. Having dined last night at a table near the large fireplace, its presence, combined with the owner's hospitality—always kind and helpful—helped convey a pleasant feeling of warmth throughout the evening. Considering that the business opened in October 2024, the remarkable work done by the owners in renovating the spaces and quickly developing such a refined cuisine is evident.
The culinary offerings follow tradition with a focus on raw ingredients. The selection of cured meats from the Arsenale, accompanied by a handcrafted giardiniera, stood out for their balanced maturation, particularly the prosciutto and coppa. The handmade meat gnocchi had the typical texture of handcrafted meats, with a flavorful and well-balanced filling.
Moving on to the main courses, the mixed boiled meats (chicken, cotechino, tongue, and rib steak) were cooked and cooked to perfection. The rabbit escalopes were interestingly executed, with the sage bread crumble adding a powerful aromatic note; however, the acidity—derived from a vinegary nuance perceived in both the meat and the turnip greens—was very pronounced, a detail that characterizes the dish according to a precise culinary choice.
The wine list deserves special mention: a handwritten notebook, neatly organized by region. At the owner's suggestion, we opted for a Barbera, which proved to be a perfect match for the dishes.
The service was attentive and professional: the attention to detail, such as the table cleaning between courses and the changing of cutlery, confirms an unpredictable care for the guest. The final bill was honest and consistent with the quality of the experience and the raw materials offered.

A seemingly simple menu: each dish conceals a meticulous attention to detail. Here, refinement is expressed without ostentation, and it would be a mistake to underestimate even the most basic offerings.

Sunday lunch with friends; there were four of us, and the menu included four appetizers, four first courses, four second courses, and four desserts.
The appetizers were all very good, well-executed, and enjoyed by all. Among the first courses, unfortunately, the risotto was overcooked, while the stuffed tortelli lacked a bit of flavor. However, I appreciated the proper cooking and the thickness of the pasta, a sign of good craftsmanship. The picanha, on the other hand, was excellent, truly delicious and tender, one of the best dishes of the lunch.
As for dessert, I personally didn't enjoy the tiramisu: instead of the classic ladyfingers, they used a biscuit, presumably homemade, which didn't convince me. The mascarpone cream, however, was very good, well-balanced and pleasant.
We paired our lunch with an Amarone and a Brunello. It should be noted, however, that the first wine we chose, which was on the menu and had been ordered, turned out to be unavailable. We were only informed later, which caused a small mix-up.
A sore point about the service and management: when the lady who runs the place asked, "Was everything okay?", I answered honestly that not everything was to my liking. The answer wasn't received with great openness, which surprised me a bit, considering that both the question and the answer seemed legitimate.
She actually told me we've never received so much criticism... well, it was constructive, and after all, there's always a first time.
Furthermore, the service seemed distracted at times: on several occasions, the dishes arrived without cutlery, which we had to request.
Overall, a pleasant lunch. The cuisine has good potential and some truly successful dishes, but there's room for improvement, both in some preparations and in customer service and management.

I had the opportunity to dine here for the first time with some colleagues, and I must say it was a truly pleasant discovery.
The dishes were very good, not banal, but tastefully prepared with tradition and a modern twist.
The wine list was beautiful, hand-written, and the sommelier was very friendly. A vast selection of carefully selected wines and vintages. For those of us who are passionate about wine, like me, you're sure to find something to drink, paired with the delicious dishes.
I'll be happy to return.
The location is warm, clean, and very welcoming.

A perfect venue for any occasion: for couples, groups of friends, and ceremonies.
The dishes and ingredients are carefully selected.
The sommelier, present in the dining room, and the owner, Manuel, search for wineries with niche, unique wines that offer excellent value. With their expertise, they share their knowledge with their guests and always suggest interesting pairings.
What can I say? It's worth it!
Compliments to the kitchen team, the sommelier, and Manuel and Alessandra!
