L'aristogatto In Castelleone

Small place but very well managed. Recommended

Today....wasn't really the right day to go to the restaurant...too many parties all together...mum, the Madonna of the sanctuary, the antiques market...all in one Sunday...too many people for anyone! However...nice place, quite large, nicely furnished. Menu with not a large but sufficient choice. Good quantity dishes to be improved in quality. Service with friendly but certainly not professional staff. (given the classic errors of serving the first courses not at the same time as the diners) Passable wine list but with high prices. But what annoyed me the most were this large group of flies that were wandering around the room. Normal desserts! In the end the average is not bad but not enough to go back!

Durante la nostra visita a L'Aristogatto per pranzo, abbiamo trovato il menù piuttosto limitato, con poche opzioni disponibili. I piatti serviti sono stati nella media, senza particolari note di merito: diciamo che erano mangiabili, ma nulla che lasciasse un'impressione positiva. Il sorbetto al limone finale è stato particolarmente deludente, sembrava non montato correttamente e quasi caldo, compromettendo la freschezza tipica di questo dessert. Un'esperienza che non ci ha del tutto convinto, da riprovare.

Si tratta di un locale storico, anche se la gestione attuale è abbastanza recente, situato proprio all'inizio del viale che conduce al Santuario. Siamo ritornati a distanza di un po' di tempo, per una pizza un po' fuori orario, previa prenotazione telefonica. Siamo stati probabilmente gli ultimi clienti della serata: servizio sollecito e cortese, tavola con tovaglia e tovaglioli di stoffa, pizza di livello più che decoroso e prezzi nella media. Ho assegnato mezzo punto in più proprio per la cortesia di averci aspettato per una cena un po' fuori orario.

Very welcoming environment and attentive and kind staff. The soups are very good!! Super recommended.
