it is a perfect restaurant to spend a peaceful evening with family and/or friends. food, service and location 🔝 Since Mrs. Paola made me taste the pizza with meat sauce I went crazy, obviously in a good way 😂❤️ even the homemade desserts are amazing.

I don't usually write reviews but this time I feel compelled to do so because it really amazed me: excellently cooked food, excellent quality raw materials, generous portions, nice crispy and non-greasy fried onions, fragrant mushrooms, seasoned ham sliced ​​to perfection 'art, meat soft as butter and tasty. Last but not least: hand-rolled puff pastry sweets, baked in the oven with a little sugar on top, simple, soft and light as a cloud, they are addictive, I assure you! The staff always smiles, is kind and witty at the right level. Thanks to the owner: Paola, welcoming, nice, friendly. If you are looking for a relaxing place to eat genuinely and without anyone rushing you to leave the table free, or rather the opposite, L'Ardito is the right place, it's worth going there.

I had dinner with my partner at Ardito last night after an intense day. As soon as we entered we were greeted by the splendid smile of Paola (the owner of the restaurant) who made us sit in the main room of the restaurant. The restaurant reflects the classic style of Roman trattorias, without particular frills but very welcoming and well heated, the service prompt, attentive, pleasantly informal but never intrusive. We started with an appetizer of fried foods (exceptional homemade supplì and croquettes), courgette flowers and onion rings and we licked our ears. We continued with the second courses and side dishes: Me with a Roman pairing of saltimbocca and chicory My partner with a scamorza with ham and mushrooms and a side of fried potatoes. Quality and taste that I have tried a few times and given this we decided to try the first courses next time (especially the home-made pasta). Quoting a phrase from my partner "these dishes are addictive". We certainly found a point, thank you for a wonderful evening

Conosco e frequento questo storico locale da oltre mezzo secolo, ma negli ultimi anni aveva perso un po’ del suo appeal. Tornato ai primi di dicembre, devo dire che l’ho trovato.molto migliorato, sia nella scelta che nella preparazione dei piatti, recuperando la sua vocazione di trattoria di quartiere

Tipica trattoria romana, locale accogliente, ottimi piatti, porzioni generose. Un grazie alla signora Paola, padrona di casa eccellente e molto gentile!! Consigliatissimo.
