I was recently in Rome and felt right at home. Very welcoming place. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Everything very clean. Plus, the lady told me the story of how the restaurant originated from the wine shop... a piece of history... 😍 I highly recommend visiting it ✨

If you're staying in the area, go try Paola's cuisine!
Our hotel recommended it to us, and we were thrilled.
We ate the saltimbocca alla romana, the broccoli, the grilled sausage, and enjoyed the house wine. We only glimpsed the pizzas as they passed us, and I must say, they looked fantastic.
We also had a special need related to accessibility—my partner is in a wheelchair—and the hostess welcomed us warmly, resolving the situation in a flash.
I should also point out that Paola is part of the fourth generation to run the trattoria opened by her grandfather, who was one of the 100 Arditi (100 soldiers) of the First World War (hence the restaurant's name).

I had the pleasure of dining at Trattoria l’Ardito and it was an excellent experience.
For my appetizer, I ordered the fried zucchini flowers, crispy on the outside and delicate on the inside—really light, I must say.
The carbonara was super creamy, with plenty of crispy bacon and an authentic Roman flavor. For my main course, I tried the fillet steak with green peppercorns, perfectly cooked and wrapped in a velvety, flavorful sauce that highlighted the quality of the meat.
The service was friendly and attentive.
The atmosphere of the trattoria exudes warmth, making the meal pleasant and familiar.
I highly recommend it. I can't wait to return!!!

I visited this beautiful, traditional Roman trattoria with a group of 60 people, all of whom were foreigners. You'll find the staff truly welcoming and helpful. Signora Paola, who firmly leads the kitchen, is the perfect hostess who loves to share the story of the family that has expertly run the restaurant for over a second. The traditional Roman dishes fully meet expectations, making it clear that this is how Rome has been eating...for decades. Truly excellent!

Abbiamo preso pizza e primo insieme alla mia compagna . La pizza la consiglio mentre la cucina mi ha deluso .. la pasta .. spaghetti alla carbonara nonostante fosse un piatto abbondante era scotta , gentilissima la Signora che voleva farla rifare ! Anche il servizio al tavolo è buono , le due ragazze sempre presenti . Carino anche l intrattenimento al pianoforte !
