Generous portions, yet so tasty that you can even grab something from your neighbor if he's distracted. I had zucchini blossoms, carbonara, beer, and tiramisu. This is my second time here; last time, I also had the peppered fillet steak. I want to go back soon to start all over again.

5 stars all the way. My family and I have been here twice and we love it. Really shocked how its not rated all around as 5 stars, the food and service and wines are incredible. Great prices on all the food and the wine is amazing... I think they even make it themselves which is why its priced so well. Great value, 100% worth coming for dinner!

Between the asbestos roof, the bathrooms that smell like sewers, and the food, forget about it all being cold!! Will I go back? Definitely not!!

An old neighborhood trattoria that hasn't changed for 50 years. The welcome is warm, the food is average, and the prices are high: €23 for a flower, pizza, and beer is really high. Even better!

My wife and I, invited by friends, went to eat at the Ardito restaurant, a welcoming atmosphere, fresh food, well cooked, young and well-trained waiters led by Mrs. Paola, a fabulous person attentive to the smallest details of the customer. We will return to the Atdito restaurant again.

I was recently in Rome and felt right at home. Very welcoming place. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Everything very clean. Plus, the lady told me the story of how the restaurant originated from the wine shop... a piece of history... 😍 I highly recommend visiting it ✨

If you're staying in the area, go try Paola's cuisine! Our hotel recommended it to us, and we were thrilled. We ate the saltimbocca alla romana, the broccoli, the grilled sausage, and enjoyed the house wine. We only glimpsed the pizzas as they passed us, and I must say, they looked fantastic. We also had a special need related to accessibility—my partner is in a wheelchair—and the hostess welcomed us warmly, resolving the situation in a flash. I should also point out that Paola is part of the fourth generation to run the trattoria opened by her grandfather, who was one of the 100 Arditi (100 soldiers) of the First World War (hence the restaurant's name).

I had the pleasure of dining at Trattoria l’Ardito and it was an excellent experience. For my appetizer, I ordered the fried zucchini flowers, crispy on the outside and delicate on the inside—really light, I must say. The carbonara was super creamy, with plenty of crispy bacon and an authentic Roman flavor. For my main course, I tried the fillet steak with green peppercorns, perfectly cooked and wrapped in a velvety, flavorful sauce that highlighted the quality of the meat. The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere of the trattoria exudes warmth, making the meal pleasant and familiar. I highly recommend it. I can't wait to return!!!

04/12/2025: Ottelo alla Concordia is one of those Roman restaurants that leaves a lasting impression from the very first visit. The setting is warm and authentic, with a genuine Italian ambiance that immediately puts you at ease. As for the food, everything is prepared with care and true culinary mastery. Their fried squash blossom dish is a marvel: light, crispy, fragrant, and perfectly seasoned. It's rare to find such delicate and balanced fried food. The fish dishes are equally impressive: perfectly cooked, with bold flavors and a simple yet elegant presentation. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the respect for the product. To finish the meal, it's hard to resist their tiramisu: creamy, smooth, and airy, with just the right amount of coffee. A perfectly executed dessert, among the best I've tasted in Rome. The service is pleasant and attentive, contributing to the restaurant's convivial atmosphere. In short, Ottelo alla Concordia is a wonderful discovery, a place where you can eat extremely well, true to traditional Italian flavors. Really delicious! Reservations are recommended.
26/11/2025: Excellent restaurant serving traditional Roman cuisine, including oxtail stew. A group of ten ate on the courtyard veranda in a welcoming atmosphere. The service wasn't impeccable; we had a long wait for dessert, but the entire meal lasted over two hours. The quality of the food was excellent; everyone ordered different dishes, but the overall opinion was unanimous, and the prices were reasonable. Make sure to book.

20/10/2025: A corner of paradise in the center of Rome, a pleasant atmosphere, excellent quality products, and the prices are commensurate with the location. We'll definitely be returning.
19/10/2025: This isn't our first time at Matermatuta. The menu is always splendid: top-quality fish, with always original and absolutely delicious variations. Probably the best seafood restaurant in central Rome. The service is also remarkable: punctual, friendly, and helpful. Always a divine experience at Matermatuta.
