Excellent food, genuine, home-made flavours, very kind owners...slowfood...a piece of advice: improve the bathroom

L'Arcolaio is a very special restaurant and, with only four tiny tables and no separation between kitchen and dining room, could well be the smallest restaurant I've eaten at in my long life. Run by two sisters who do both the cooking and the waiting, L'Arcolaio is full to the brim of a myriad of family items and pictures, which contribute to the feeling of eating not in a restaurant but at the sisters' home, also considering the continuous interaction and chatting between the customers and the owners. The menu gives a good overview of local cuisine and products, and the dishes are very well prepared and of excellent quality. Prices are rather expensive, a 3-course dinner would exceed €50 without wine, but are somehow justified by the quality and the uniqueness of the dining experience. Recommended.

We had lunch outside. The place is unique in the sense of a tiny osteria/trattoria. The food is excellent, made with local ingredients; we're in Colfiorito. The ambiance needs a makeover because I understand it's quaint, but the stale smell isn't very welcoming.

An unexpected restaurant in Colfiorito, set in a traditional and original setting. Delicious, fresh food. Impeccable service: Donatella and Tiziana are incredibly sweet and welcome you with freshly made homemade pasta.

Going to Colfiorito and not visiting this gem is a real shame. So authentic...a gem.

Excellent welcome from the two sisters who run the place. Menu with typical products and pasta made on the spot, for example strangozzi, papardelle, tagliatelle,...shepherd's cheese. Ate very well, to return.

In direzione Assisi da Civitanove Marche , stavamo cercando un posticino dove mangiare un boccone e ci siamo imbattuti in questo posticino che potresti anche non notare. Due sorelle che trasmettono il gusto della vita. Il loro locale è la loro casa che diventa in un attimo anche la tua perchè te lo fanno capire. Esce l’anima che arriva nei piatti che cucinano al momento con tutto freschissimo . Risultato: tanto gusto, sapore. Provate tutto ciò che consigliano!
