I found a great variety of high-quality food, and quite generous portions!
The location is definitely the best thing, being right in the heart of Rome!
And the service is fast and very professional!
The atmosphere is traditional, and trust me, there's nothing better than a caccio e peppe or carbonara paired with a good wine at Arcano!

My review of a very pleasant experience, in 2014 and repeated in 2017, was: "Excellent traditional Roman cuisine, a stone's throw from the Pantheon, a suggestive setting and good value for money. Absolutely recommended! :-)".
After a recent experience in the past few weeks I have to lower my rating a lot, both on the quality of the food - average - but above all in relation to the exhausting waiting times.

I don't understand why the reviews are so bad. The salad, pasta, tomato and mozzarella, and bruschetta were okay, as expected in the area around the Pantheon. Prices were acceptable.

This quient restaurant along a vibrant passage way in the heart of Rome was a wonderful stop to rest, and have a delicious lunch before carrying on with our sightseeing.
The staff are very friendly.

Place, refined, clean, friendly, knowledgeable and very courteous staff. Excellent quality food, we had some good appetizers and spectacular first courses, pasta amatriciana, pasta carbonara and cacio e pepe, all delicious and delicious. To finish, an excellent platter with chocolate and biscuits. Recommended place.
