I was a boy when I queued for the excellent white pizza about 40 years ago and maybe more. Even now I queue for the same pizza. What can I say, tradition is tradition and the goodness of the pizza is always the same. Try to believe. Until next time

La Nicchia Cafe

09/07/2025: A very tasty stop...La Nichia Cafe was the meeting place and first stop on our food tour. Like so many others, we enjoyed the food, wine and atmosphere. We now know about the quality olive oils and balsamics and had a chance to taste and compare the differences.
28/06/2025: This a fantastic little cafe. We went there on a food tour and were able to taste so many of their products they sell. High quality balsamic vinegar up to 30 year aged!! (Pricey) Delicious pestos basil and sundried tomato both. The classic Italian meats are fantastic. Wonderful prosecco and vernaccia as well as chianti classico. Go find this place (not far from Bonci pizza) or better yet do 'the Roman Food Tour' and you will get the best experience!!

12/09/2025: Great looking pub. Please understand that only local craft beers is available. Food is good but sometimes the chef gets carried away with mayo
31/08/2025: The place is very nice, well-kept, in line with other places in the neighborhood. The food is good, and the chef definitely knows his stuff. The only thing I don't understand is the choice of industrial bread, which in my opinion undermines the quality and makes me turn up my nose if I'm charged €14 for it. The beers are excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is the prices are too high for the location and the type of dishes offered.
