It was a Neapolitan da Michele level pizza exclusive to Vesuvius. I went to Florence twice in 3 days.

The food was incredible but sad to see there aren’t more vegan options, or at least a vegan option on each menu (starter, main and dessert). The atmosphere in the outdoor seating was great and the employees were very kind and able to recommend drinks. At times it did feel like we’d been forgotten about, which may be great for others who want to have a quiet night so not necessarily a complaint! It didn’t take long to get our food or drink once we had ordered and again the food was sooo tasty! 🍕

Excellent pizzas and arancinos. The problem was the poor treatment of the person who is paid at the cashier. We asked to split the bill and this person had a bad disposition and did not understand what we wanted to do, being very rude. It ruined how good the experience was going.

The pizza tastes amazing - both fried and oven-baked. Popular for a reason so expect a queue at peak times.

We went around 15.30, just before siesta time. We ordered a double pizza and ate it with my wife, they cut it in half and served it. It was very delicious, it was 9€, I definitely recommend it :)

Trovandomi a Firenze per lavoro.. ho deciso di fermarmi a mangiare una pizza durante la mia pausa pranzo... di domenica. Conoscevo già l'Antica Pizzeria Da Michele (delle sedi di Napoli e Bologna )... Ed ero curiosa di provare la qualità anche nella sede fiorentina. La pizza (ho ordinato una margherita bianca senza pomodoro con doppia mozzarella e basilico) mi è piaciuta... Michele è sempre una conferma. Personale molto gentile. Tra l'altro ho trovato i prezzi più bassi che nella sede di Bologna....!

We arrived in Florence on a Friday morning and after a drink and a walk around the Mercato Centrale had built up an appetite. We shared a margherita having seen the size of the pizzas delivered to neighbouring tables and opted for the extra buffalo mozzarella. The pizza here lives up to expectation and the five star reviews – a perfect base with a fluffy crust, generous toppings, incredible flavour and piping hot served straight out of the wood fired oven. The service was excellent, the pizza delicious, the beer and wine perfectly chilled and very reasonable prices. What more could you ask for….?

Club Incisa

16/08/2024: Good evening I am a regular customer of Antico caffè di Incisa, despite the scorching heat, the café is always open, the owner is available and doesn't watch time to guarantee a hot meal or a sandwich. Surely you can't please everyone! But we must give due credit to those who work honestly to earn their keep. A thousand thanks Mary.
02/08/2024: Very tasty and the restaurant was opened an hour in advance so it's really worth full marks, keep it up
