We've known the place for years, and Mimma and Paolo have always been incredibly reliable as chefs and hosts. They're always sure of the excellent food, including Piacenza dishes and grilled meats. We'd love to return again... Thank you.

Excellent boneless, fat-free rib-eye steak, cooked rare. My wife had a generous roast beef, all served with a side of fries and grilled vegetables, two desserts, coffee, 2 liters of water, and 1/4 cup of sparkling white wine. All for €57. Excellent for me.

I found the Osteria by chance, while I was out on my motorcycle, when I saw someone coming out and noticed a rustic feel. I wasn't wrong; the stone restaurant is very homely. The gnocco fritto and mushroom risotto made for a truly wonderful lunch. The gnocco is made according to Emilian art. Oh, and don't forget to pick up the excellent honey and a can of Galup, which are fabulous and you'll be amazed by their deliciousness.

25/11/2025: Excellent aperitif in an iconic place in Piacenza.
12/10/2025: A pleasantly stylish place, although I'm not a fan of dark areas (the lights above the table would occasionally inexplicably dim). It's not too crowded, and there's parking nearby. A wide selection of well-composed burgers with very respectable results. There are also some off-menu options. 4 stars instead of 5 mainly due to the generally long wait times and the prices, which, despite the quality, I personally find a bit high (I paid €22 for a burger and a Guinness in a Northern European capital, for comparison). €8-9 for dessert is a bit too much (the dulce de leche cheesecake was good, but ultimately cloying due to its excessive sweetness).
