We had a amazing seafood experience and a lovely evening in Laterna Rossa. The menu was discussed in advance and probably not the standard a la carte but just talk to the owner and maybe there is something special to surprise you. A bit rustic and feels like a very authentic Italian experience. Thank you for the perfect evening!

I was there last night for the first time and I'm going back again tonight because the fried food is excellent and the service is very attentive and helpful... mussels tonight...

An impromptu lunch, by me, on August 15th, certainly not by the owners. I made a last-minute reservation (1:30 PM) and was able to appreciate what they could offer beyond the set menu. We had a portion of octopus and potatoes (neither great nor bad), while I must say the fried anchovies and mixed grill were truly delicious. Prices are similar at all restaurants these days.

I was here last night, arriving without a reservation. The pizza was excellent. But the reason I wasn't entirely satisfied was that, despite the place being advertised as a restaurant and pizzeria, we were forced to order pizzas when we had arrived intending to go here as a restaurant and order fish dishes. The staff, however, was friendly and helpful.

13/09/2025: Delicious pizza, light and crispy at the same time, nothing like those "rubbery" pizzas that they call "Neapolitan" and then rise in your stomach and you digest them the next afternoon!! The food is also good. Courtesy and kindness. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat, this is the right place.
15/06/2025: My boyfriend and I have been frequenting this restaurant often for a long time. The atmosphere is quiet, there are always few people and I don't mind, the owners are very kind and helpful. However, the overall experience did not fully satisfy us. Lately it has not been pleasant anymore. For a place setting with a paper placemat, €4 seems a bit excessive to me. The portions were rather small compared to the asking price, which at the end of the meal turned out to be quite high in relation to what we actually ate. Unfortunately, the quality-price ratio did not live up to expectations. A shame, because with a few more adjustments on the quantity and cost, the experience could have been decidedly better.
