The seating on the terrace is pleasant. The waitress is friendly and chatty. Unfortunately, the food is nothing special. The grilled chicken was a bit dry and underseasoned. The pork fillet was quite stringy. Strange for a fillet. You can go, but don't expect too much.

Unfortunately, I can't follow the good recommendation. Maybe we were just unlucky. We ordered the Herrengeröstel (roasted pork). What came out was unbelievably bad. The meat was so fatty and gristly that it was almost impossible to eat. We ended up sending it back. The service was very nice, and she was also quite uncomfortable. 🥴

A vacation in Naturno without Langwies is possible, but not sensible. We're coming here for the seventh time in ten years. The owner, Sonya, alone makes the visit worthwhile; she puts so much heart and soul into it. And no matter how crowded the terrace is, you can always hear her laughing and she takes the time to chat. Even more important is the food. All dishes are freshly cooked and incredibly delicious. We love coming to the barbecue evenings, where we have spare ribs, chicken, or knuckle of pork, but only by reservation! But the menu also offers plenty of delicious options. Sitting comfortably on the terrace is also protected from the rain, and you also have a beautiful view of the valley.

As always, warm welcome and very friendly service. The dishes are all very good. Everything is always fresh and daily recommendations. The boss cooks personally.

Pizzeria Zur Alten Post

06/06/2025: We've eaten at this restaurant twice in the summer of 2021. A variety of dishes, each delicious, attractively prepared, and served with a friendly service. We immediately remembered this lovely restaurant today. Even after four years, the food and service are still excellent. Fair prices for good quality. Highly recommended.
05/06/2025: Free parking is available nearby, approximately 500 meters away, but you need a meter to park your car. The pizza is delicious. The pasta is very good. The burgers, just remove the onions because they make the burger a little bland. The fries are good. I thank Mr. Giovanni, he's a friendly person. I give the restaurant a 9 out of 10. I asked him to put a menu in Arabic and to be careful of the burgers that contain pork. You should let them know, as most restaurants in Italy and European countries in general do. The prices are reasonable. Crowded during holidays.

26/07/2025: I think it's one of the best places for excellent value. Val Gardena is renowned for its unbelievable prices. At this pizzeria, the quality is top-notch and the prices are reasonable. The pizzas are delicious, well-cooked, and the ingredients are top-quality: fresh speck, fresh vegetables, and delicious cheeses. The pizza chef is excellent at fulfilling every request. He has an oven where the pizzas rotate on a rotating platform for even better cooking. The pizzas are huge! One piece of advice I'd give the owner is to provide a pair of scissors for each table to cut the pizza, as their size means they overhang the plate and are a bit difficult to cut. Since I didn't finish the pizza, the owner let me take it home in a takeout box. In addition to the pizzas, we also tried the polenta gnocchi with game ragù, which were excellent. We also didn't miss the ricotta dumplings filled with gianduia. A delight!!! We returned twice during our week-long stay. Both times, they offered us a complimentary amaro after the meal. The place is easy to get to, and there's a parking lot outside, which I think is too small given how busy it is. The restaurant is typical of mountain restaurants, all in wood. Pets are welcome.
