L'Angolo Dietetico Celiaco In Capo d'orlando

The best gluten-free bread I've tried so far. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try other products because they weren't widely available.

What an incredible discovery: Angolo Dietetico Celiaco! A small bakery specializing in gluten-free bread and pastries... and not only that, but also Sicilian street food perfectly suited to gluten-free eating! The owner, Rosa, welcomed us with open arms and showed us her wonders and discoveries. She let us taste her bread, her biscuits... and she even provided us with piping hot arancini, absolutely delicious! Rosa shared some of her culinary secrets with us: she revealed the brand of flour she uses (a deglutinated flour, we'd never heard of it), and even the recipe for her incredible bread. She insisted on giving us little books published by the Italian Celiac Association, with lots of practical advice. And all this with joy and human warmth. How generous! If you're celiac and you're passing near Capo d'Orlando, head over to Rosa's place; you'll be delighted! Her arancini lasted the next day without any difficulty (our only regret is that we should have bought a few more, because we were the ones who couldn't go without eating them, haha), and the shortbread perfectly survived the long journey to the flatter country.
