At this restaurant, we found the staff welcoming, kind, and professional, all accompanied by delicious dishes in generous portions. The frittino appetizer was wonderful, the seafood pasta was exceptional, and not to mention the fritto misto!!! Thank you for the excellent cuisine and your smile!! The staff and owner are excellent, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere is new, tidy, and clean. The table setting featured an upside-down plate; I didn't understand its purpose. The pizza was good, but the cooking was questionable. The menu didn't list all the ingredients as required by law. The paccheri with cream and shrimp seemed like something from an American tourist. The quality of the meat was good. If you call the restaurant Salentum, you expect typical Salento dishes. Perhaps they could revise the menu to reflect the seasons and the local area. Good luck to the management.

11/08/2025: We stopped by chance on a Saturday evening... welcoming, friendly... excellent food, truly TYPICAL AND WELL MADE!!! The drinks are excellent and they have a great selection without spending a fortune, unlike other places that charge a lot given the season... As a Salento native living in the north, I wish all places in Lecce were like this... right in the historic center, you get a taste of the origins and authenticity of Salento... In the end, we even made friends with the customers and with Stefania (the owner) and Alessandro (the waiter). They made us feel like an integral part of everything. We obviously returned, and like the first time, the same magnificent experience. We should say thank you to the people who still want to keep our traditions and our essence alive without profiting. ❤️
