I found the typical Sardinian dishes repeatedly savored during my 35 years spent on the island. The culurgionis with butter and sage and with ragù are exceptional. The sliced mutton with rocket and parmesan is also excellent. We concluded with the classic sebada and a delicious, homemade mirto.

We went here for dinner twice in a row. Great staff who took the time to take the order and serve us despite our lack of Italian knowledge. An employee with English knowledge behind the counter, who didn't actually seem to be working as a waitress (more like a manager), explained the daily specials and made recommendations to us whenever hand-and-foot communication was no longer sufficient.
We tried pizza, pasta (orecchiette and the Sardinian stuffed pasta. Both with ragu), meat, starter platter with cheese and vegetables, and Sardinian dessert. Everything very tasty! The pizza in particular was a highlight for me because of the good dough. (It's even available as Bianca)
The portions are very generous. Rolls made from pizza dough are served with the food, which tastes pretty awesome on its own. The prices are cheap, it's done in Swabian style and being stingy with tips is embarrassing.
The restaurant was a pleasant surprise for us with its honest, country cuisine.

This time I must say that the service left something to be desired as did the absence of air conditioning. I was there last August 17th. On the other hand, the Culurgiones and the Seada were truly exceptional.
