Everything was perfect, the carbonara was exquisite

Wow! We loved this place! It was so peaceful and not very busy with amazing service and atmosphere! Everything we ate was absolutely amazing! We had the house wine! And dessert of the day! The pasta was what was recommended and I can’t remember what they were but the white pasta had bacon in it. So good! We will definitely go again.

This restaurant was steps from our Airbnb and we decided to try it when our feet were very tired from a long day seeing Rome. What a Treat! Not only was the staff fantastic, the FOOD!! Oh the FOOD!! Authentic Italian offerings prepared perfectly from what is clearly a family run place. They have recently added Outside tables too. The Lasagna was a dream, every bite just amazing. One of the best I've had. Pesto was better than what we had in Bologna, and don't' even get me started on the delicious Dolce...

Lo encontramos de casualidad. Se come súper bien! Hemos repetido dos días, Servicio muy bueno, muy amables. La comida estaba muy rica. Cerveza de 600 ml a 4euros. Comimos 4 adultos y 2 niños.

compared to expectation, this is a very good place! Not fancy, simply simple, classic Italian food. Specifically we ate the a pizza, simple salad and suppli - all were great.

Une extraordinaire découverte à Rome. Cuisine simple mais succulente. Que du frais, vraiment cuisiné pour un prix imbattable à Rome. Ça ne paye pas de mine de l'extérieur mais je recommande vivement. Nous y sommes même retournés le lendemain. A faire absolument !

As always, every review is subjective and from personal experience. Let me start by saying that I was there as a tourist visiting Rome, at the end of the tour we decide to stop to eat a first course (what are you doing, going to Rome and not trying the typical first courses?). We decide to take; carbonara, gricia, taglioni with meat sauce. The gricia was good but I wasn't crazy about it, but simply due to personal taste. Ah, but first we had had some omelettes, obviously nothing fresh but everything frozen. The taglioni with meat sauce seem to have been quite popular. The carbonara, which was the most requested dish on our table, left us completely disappointed. The cream was very noticeable and it's a shame because in Rome you expect His Majesty the Carbonara... but here it wasn't like that. The service is very simple, staff of very few words and a slightly vintage venue. The prices were, in my opinion, quite competitive. Conclusion; Would I go back? No, because it doesn't reflect the Roman tradition, the previous evening we went to a restaurant outside Rome and ate a wonderful Carbonara and Cacio e Pepe. Would I recommend it? No, because it is a restaurant that attracts tourists and in my opinion if you can move around comfortably, you can find better things. And the venue? A little dated, but it's the last thing I look at, because if the place is nice and then the food isn't good then I prefer to eat well in an "old" place. Here there were not both. Ah, the service wasn't slow at all, in fact the dishes arrived after a decent wait.
