Having now become a "restaurant", the Lavenna mountain hut has lost its distinctive rural architecture and has become modern and highly visited. Fortunately, the quality of the dishes remained unchanged even if the increase in the number of seats made the waits too long.

After a hike you should stop by the inn. Here you can sit outside and enjoy a delicious snack. Priced in the middle range, but ok. Service was good and we didn't have to wait.

Splendido luogo questo, con le meravigliose passeggiate Langfenn e San Genesio. Locale tutto al sole, ottima cucina, servizio attento e svelto nonostante fosse peno. Dolci stellari.

Sosta pranzo durante escursione invernale. Posto affollato in quanto adiacente alla Chiesa di San Giacomo. Non posso giudicare il personale perchè ho avuto a che fare con solo una Signora che prendeva le ordinazioni e il tizio che serviva al tavolo i piatti ordinati. Comunque le proposte consumate direi discrete dalle patate speck e uova alla pastina in brodo con manzo. Serviti in tempi brevi. Prezzi nella norma. Andateci.

Waiting times can be very long as the inn is rightly very popular. Creative menu, very good open wine selection. The price level is appropriate for the quality. Highly recommended!

Unique position. Spectacular panorama of the Dolomites. The food is good.

Great food, great playground, ambience, only 3 stars because of construction work on site
