I have nothing but praise for APO and their staff. I felt at home and pampered like never before! Not to mention the sublime carbonara and spectacular rib-eye steak! A place I'll return to at least once a month, and it will always remain in my heart.

Beautiful and special place full of memorabilia of the owner, Apo Ambrosi. Excellent food and kind and attentive service. Fair prices considering the very central location of the Marostica square. And then as Romans we appreciated the presence of references to Magical Rome

We had been missing for 2 years, and in fact we were surprised to no longer see the pizza oven that has given way to a grill. No more pizzas, therefore, but the excellent Roman specialties (carbonara, gricia, cacio e pepe) and excellent meat options. The desserts on the menu, all homemade, very good and refined. The shift of the place towards gourmet options is very appropriate. Well done always to the host of the place, Apo, who always watches over and entertains in his place and a round of applause to the excellent staff. We always return with pleasure to Marostica in this place overlooking the beautiful Piazza degli Scacchi.

Dinner based on carbonara, cacio e pepe and tagliata. All excellent! Attentive but at the same time discreet service. Very friendly owner. Recommended if you like Roman cuisine and good meat!!!

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I must say it was a truly positive experience! The food is of excellent quality, with carefully prepared and tasty dishes. The meat is simply delicious, tender and tasty, perfect for those who love authentic flavors. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, always available to advise and make the evening even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to those looking for a welcoming place to eat well and feel at home!

We ate outside, in Piazza degli Scacchi, a very beautiful location. Really super quality and flavors, kind and fast service. Fair prices with what is offered. Must try!! Update: returned and I can only confirm the review. Worth it!!

A pleasant surprise. Even though I am from the area, I had never stopped at this beautiful place with a historic flavor. Top quality food, starting with the meat, recommended, cooked and served with the most correct rules of catering. Presentation by the staff, very courteous and competent advice on dishes and wine. Prices absolutely correct for the location, quality and service offered. Spent a pleasant Sunday with the family and I will definitely return. Typical place absolutely recommended.

Luogo accogliente e persone molto simpatiche. Cibo e vino ottimi. L'unico neo, avendo preso maccheroni cacio e pepe, seppur arrivati fumanti, a metà piatto in sugo si rapprende e si raffredda, bisognerebbe riscaldare i piatti per evitarlo. Grazie mille.

Sono appena tornato da un’esperienza culinaria unica in un ristorante che unisce in modo impeccabile le tradizioni gastronomiche locali e romane. Locale, dall’atmosfera accogliente e rustica, ti fa subito sentire come a casa, con un servizio attento e caloroso che rende il pranzo o la cena ancora più piacevoli. Il menù è un viaggio tra i sapori autentici. Ho iniziato con una cacio e pepe perfetta, dal gusto intenso e cremoso. Come secondo, ho optato per una costata Veneta, su consiglio di Lorenzo, che ha saputo soddisfare appieno i miei gusti, volevo una carne poco grassa ma gustosa. Per finire, un brownie al cioccolato fatto in casa,con lampone e gelato alla vaniglia che ha chiuso in bellezza un pasto indimenticabile. La carta dei vini, selezionata con cura, comprende etichette da tutta Italia, perfette per accompagnare ogni portata. In sintesi, questo ristorante è un angolo di tradizione che offre piatti autentici e preparati con passione. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca un’esperienza gastronomica che celebra i veri sapori italiani.
