L'Altra Mescita In Napoli

We came across this place completely by chance, as we wanted to have dinner outside the casino in the centre. Super well-kept place that offers true Neapolitan cuisine. We had an octopus salad (very good), a pasta alla nerano and a revisitation of the potato and provolone pasta with truly sublime mussels. Everyone was super nice and we felt at home. Note of honor for the owner of the place (Isidoro) who offered us a glass of sparkling wine as he was celebrating his birthday. Prices slightly above average but everything super in line with the quality of the dinner. Often it takes very little to leave the center and enjoy something authentic and genuine.

I went to this restaurant for a birthday. Excellent appetizers of meatballs, aubergine parmigiana and stuffed courgette flowers. The first, a risotto with radicchio and sausage, also excellent, perhaps it should have been dried a little more. Spectacular view of the venue on the hills of Posillipo and Nisida.
