Beautiful place, we stayed over with our own camper. You're staying in the parking lot in front of the restaurant, which is fine. Shower and toilet are good (but would be limited when needing to share, we were here alone). We only used the restaurant for a cappucino in the morning. The hosts are very friendly. We paid €15 for two with a camper van.

The whole family was happy with their stay at this farmhouse. Spacious and clean rooms, super helpful and approachable staff, a nice outdoor space where children can run. There is also the possibility of dining on site, a recommended experience: few dishes, but very good (phenomenal bigoli and tortelli) and with an alternative for vegetarians. Twenty minutes from Mantua.

Friendly and welcoming staff. You eat all the dishes homemade and on the spot. The bigoli with various sauces were exceptional and also the homemade tiramisu, very good. The account then released no surprises. The menu had that price and that was it. Usually when there is a fixed menu then at the checkout it turns out that that one was not included and the other one was paid separately. Not here. Three generous courses of bigoli, homemade tiramisu, bread, water, Lambrusco Mantovano and coffee, 28 euros.

I discovered this beautiful structure a year ago. I am happy to come back every time I have to attend karate meetings in the area. Excellent staff, all very kind and helpful. Restaurant with genuine products. Among other things, we'll see each other again in a month and I've already booked. 😉

New double room, with exposed tub and shower, large and clean. Nice mix of retro and modern, kettle and coffee machine. Ground floor, we parked the car in front, well heated. Pet friendly and welcoming owners.

03/08/2025: The business lunches offered by ContadiNostrano are excellent value. I go there very often and have always had a great experience. I've also had the opportunity to try the pizzas, and I must say I enjoyed them as well. The only downside to the atmosphere is that it leaves a smell on your clothes that can be noticed even after you've left the place for a few hours. Personally, I don't find this a limiting factor (also because, being a pizzeria, I think it's normal for clothes to pick up the typical pizza smell if you eat inside).
28/07/2025: Excellent place near the residence where I'm staying. The food is good. Reasonable prices. No reservations or waiting. I appreciated the unique look of the dishes... not just the usual porcelain... The only downside: they don't do take-out coffee. Anyway, I was satisfied with the service and everything else. Well done!

23/09/2025: An incredible café/gelateria/pastry shop in the center of Pomponesco. Artisanal gelato with a refined and innovative flavor. The local sbrisolona gelato is a must-try.
