My husband and I visited this restaurant a few days ago and were truly pleasantly surprised by this culinary gem in the heart of Salento. Beyond the evocative, almost breathtaking location, the exquisite delicacies offered are certainly noteworthy. Also worthy of mention is the kindness and friendliness of the young woman who took our orders. When we return to Salento, we will definitely stop here again. Five stars more than deserved.

We returned after many years. I'm in love with this place. Always a great location 🥰 dreamy. You eat with your eyes and your mouth ❤️ Very friendly staff. Not to mention the owner. Exquisite person. Only flaw...my octopus in a pot was a bit small (in quantity). What a shame.

Went to this restaurant with family on the 10th of July 2025. We arrived early before they were open and were invited onto the terrace to wait by an kind elderly gentleman who then served us throughout dinner in the closed garden. It was an excellent experience in an excellent location with fabulous service. The food was great and it is definitely a place I would go to again. Thank you to the welcoming staff and help during booking and to the service staff who helped created this memorable experience.

Subpar. Unfortunately, they did not have several items on the menu when we went. We found the food to be reasonably bland, small portioned and overpriced. We would not return and we surprisingly shocked of the high reviews. The atmosphere and decor were beautiful so perhaps, for a drink!

Very characteristic restaurant! Typically Salento! I went there with my boyfriend and we had the tasting appetizer to start with meatballs, potato pitta, stuffed aubergines, cod with potatoes, all Salento recipes. The place is worth a visit because it is really nice, especially the terrace and the cistern with waterfall! I really liked the idea they had to put speakers in the bathroom with a guide voice that quotes words, sayings and proverbs from Salento and then translates and explains them! I recommend it!

We also arrived somewhat by chance and discovered a good restaurant proud of its dishes, which plays with ingredients and flavors for our greatest pleasure. I like to discover, and that's what I had, and in a super-friendly way! Bravo and thank you very much.
12/07/2025: Buonissimo!! I ate at Scante with my wife and the food was to die for! The polpette and crostino were delicious as was the pasta! Martina and Bruno treated us like family the moment we sat down. Highly recommended if you are in Lecce!
