L'Abside In

This was one of our favorite places we ate at in the Amalfi coast in several days being there. The people are nice and the food is exceptional. You can't go wrong going out of your way to eat here.

Lovely experience here! You have to walk and wind your way about 5 minutes from the main square. The spot is quiet and lower foot traffic that adds to the calm dinner experience. All of the staff were kind and happy to provide a suggestion. We ordered the beef carpaccio, lobster pasta, sea bass, lemon cream puffs, and some kind of delicious chocolate dome tiramisu inspired thing! Forgive me for not listing the Italian version! We ate every single bite of this meal!

Only a few minor flaws, but otherwise amazing. The food was delicious, the staff attentive, but not pushy at all. The portion sizes were on the smaller side (see fotos) but they likely expect diners to order multiple courses. I had the octopus which was very tasty and the pasta with clams. The pasta was dried not fresh and about 1.5-2 minutes under cooked, but not worth complaining about. I was raised by my Italian grandmother and make fresh pasta at home for decades. I know what I am saying. Considering that I arrived before the evening rush, I think it is worth mentioning. Two other minor points- I asked for crushed red pepper and cheese - a sin I know - the waitress complied, but asked if I was sure. (Funny!) They charged me for a 3rd glass of wine that I never ordered. So check your bill! When I brought that to their attention, they offered to correct the bill. I instead had them bring the glass of wine. When they brought my change, they rounded down the bill by $2 There is also a $4 service charge, which is common. So a fine meal prepared by humans whom are not perfect. They are worthy of your patronage.

Excellent restaurant in a pretty little square very close to the seafront. Very good product, excellently cooked, nice presentation and crazy prices like everywhere in the Amalfi coast. Service efficient and kind. Totally recommend 👍🏻👍🏻

On our last night in Italy, we couldn’t have chosen a better place to dine in Amalfi. The restaurant offered a wonderful balance of vegetarian dishes and outstanding seafood options, each prepared with so much care and flavor. Every course felt authentic and memorable, but the desserts truly stood out — the panna cotta, in particular, was absolutely to die for. A perfect ending to our Italian journey!

This restaurant sits in the middle of a plaza which created for such a good atmosphere! The wine and food were delicious and came out so well plated! Good value for the great quality. And they accommodated my gluten allergy very well, and even brought out warm/toasted gluten free bread for me! Would eat here again

Volevamo un ristorante in centro storico, in una piazzetta, trovato!!! Tutto perfetto servizio informale ma top, piatti belli e buoni i gamberi strepitosi , i consigli per il vino , precisi ! Prezzi ottimi che dire lo consiglio!!

Wonderful owner who took us through his excellent wine list. Great food and a very nice tranquil setting. Perhaps a little fast service but they genuinely are not looking to turn the tables. Had a €40 wine which was the best of the trip which a wine store in Ravello wanted €50 for!
