not good, the cacciucco contained two large slices of moray eel, which were also cold, a mantis shrimp, some pieces of octopus and two mussels, the ravioli with cod were just pasta, no cod at all.

Antonio and chef Monica passionately run this small restaurant in Livorno's quaint (if somewhat neglected) Venezia neighborhood. The atmosphere is welcoming, and Antonio is a very kind and attentive host. The food is superb, especially the pasta dishes (the delicious carbonara with clams and the handmade spaghetti with mussels and Roquefort) and the strictly homemade desserts, such as the apple tart and chocolate fondant, both with freshly made crème anglaise (worth the wait).

The owner and chef, Monica, are kind, helpful, and friendly. A very nice place in a characteristic neighborhood of Livorno. Tasty, excellent-quality food served in original dishes and excellent wine. Highly recommended.

11/09/2025: A wonderful hotel. Lovingly run with incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, even in the off-season. We stayed 8 days with half board and thoroughly enjoyed it. Located directly on the sea, this is very rare on Elba. We highly recommend the hotel and would like to thank the staff for this wonderful stay.
03/09/2025: Beautiful location, excellent rooms for 2 people, but a little small for 3. Visit the sea opposite the islands of Montecristo and Pianosa.

17/09/2025: Very nice accommodation. Very friendly landlord.
26/08/2025: We're still sitting at the table. We stopped by chance to get two pizzas, but seeing all their typical fish dishes pass by, we convinced ourselves it was the best choice for us. We had the lobster paccheri, which were truly generous and surprisingly flavorful. We couldn't help but try the fried fish and their signature swordfish Livorno-style, with a delicate yet impactful flavor. Very courteous and professional service. Kudos to all the dining room staff and to the chef who is behind all this research into the product, combined with the craftsmanship and passion for his work. Excellent culinary experience... I'd give it more stars if I could. Kudos to everyone, keep up the good work.
