We happened upon this restaurant by chance on Easter Monday around 2pm without a reservation... the owner managed to find us a table and although he had warned us that many dishes were finished and that we would have to wait a long time for service, in reality the dishes we chose were served quickly and were very good in their simplicity. The clam carbonara was excellent! Simple but pleasant environment. We'll be back!

A wonderful, atmospheric restaurant with the best food we ate in Italy. Tired of looking for a place to eat (few places were open on Easter Monday), we were invited in by the charming hosts who made us feel at home. To start with, they served delicious bread that they bake themselves. Then appetizers, prepared with the best ingredients. The main courses were amazing, and the dessert - cake with honey cream - will remain in our memory for a long time. Additionally, the location - right by the river, surrounded by beautiful Italian tenement houses - is magical and we recommend it to anyone who is going to Livorno to taste the real Italian atmosphere.

I can't understand the negative reviews. The food is excellent, the quality of the products and the preparation are first class, which is exactly what I expect from traditional Italian cuisine (even interpreted in a modern way). The price is absolutely reasonable for me. We were served very friendly and courteously. I can definitely recommend the restaurant!

We had lunch on a Sunday at the beginning of February in this restaurant. And I can say that the environment is not bad, small and almost welcoming. The dishes are well presented, the only thing is that they are not very tasty and the price is a little high for what is offered. The only advice given that the waits between one course and another are far too long is to hire an extra waitress because just one is really too little for all the people to be served 🙏

Che dire? Squisito. A Livorno il pesce si mangia bene e in tanti posti. Qui pero' c'e' quel qualcosa in piu': ricerca, cortesia e gusto.

Il locale é situato nella zona chiamata Venezia Nuova, suggestivo e riservato anche di sabato sera. La cucina é frutto del lavoro incessante della proprietaria, signora Monica, che si occupa di tutto: dall'antipasto ai dolci passando per il pane appena sfornato. Tutto richiama sapori genuini e delicati pur avendo quel tocco di ristorante stellato per la qualitá delle materie prime e per la presentazione delle varie portate. Le verdure provengono direttamente dall'orto di famiglia ed é tutto preparato sul momento. Porzioni adeguate e prezzo leggermente sopra la media ma ci sta. Molto gradita l'attenzione ai dettagli come i tovaglioli in tessuto ricamati con il logo dell'osteria e le lavette messe a disposizione della clientela nella toilette. Passione e dedizione danno questi risultati.
Non do 5 stelle solo perché all'interno del ristorante si avverte un forte odore di chiuso, tipo muffa, che entrando dá molto fastidio (io sono molto sensibile a questo tipo di odori)

Small but bright, clean and beautiful place.
Fast and personal service (the owner) kind, courteous and very competent.
The fish cuisine and its fresh, quality ingredients are excellent.
Special mention for the Caciucco 5C, but the Livorno-style cod, the fish carbonara and the apple and lemon cream dessert are also worth trying.
Price in line with the quality of the products and its refinement.
