La Vineria Bollicine In Sorrento

We found this hidden gem as we walking looking for somewhere extraordinary to celebrate my wife's birthday, what we didn't expect was to find this amazing and unique experience. From the moment we sat down to the moment we left was incredible to say the least, the homemade bread and olive oil is sublime, the starters were mind blowing along with the mains and desserts. We sat at the chefs table where you eat what the chef decides and pay what you feel, (which depicts what we paid as it was amazing we paid what we thought was courtesy enough with a tip and drinks included in the price) and I cannot deny it was amazing and the local red wine was delicious. We even got a picture with the chef and staff afterwards and went through inside and experienced their locale fare with some music and dance. Strongly recommend this place. I liked atmosphere and restaurant stuff. They are nice, welcoming and food is really delicious. Good fare prices and you can try local dishes here. Definitely worth to attend this place at least once 🙂

We had such an amazing time here we stopped in for a glass of wine and ended up staying for hours. Francesco was so friendly. The cook was great and it was amazing as we made friends there as well.

Very nice food！The lobster pasta was super good. Every bite had that fresh-from-the-sea flavor. Seafood was of high quality. Everything was cooked just right and very juicy. The service was warm and attentive, too. Definitely a must-try if you come to Sorrento.

They MESSED up our order but it was serendipitous as they sent out the lamb instead of the beef. The lamb was incredible. They serve local wines by the glass for a fair price and the wine is well well above average in quality (like 9/10 wine for a 3/10 price). The seafood pasta (clams, white fish, calamari) was excellent - I genuinely only ordered it as I was "in Italy" as I generally avoid seafood but after this I am now a seafood enjoyer. I believe western renditions of seafood pasta end up making every single component taste like a stinky fish - this was not the case here. Very delicate. Service was available in English - waiters were fun and entertained my horrific Italian. I also believe the waivers are hyper polyglots as they seem to be able to speak every language on Earth as they spruiked their food.
