Stunning location. It is practically an old cellar used as a restaurant. Very good starter and first courses. I recommend it. Regardless of the location, it is worth the price paid

Exceptional experience. Important notes are- cash only, reservations strongly encouraged, and you have to ring the doorbell to get in. There are no signs outside. We did not have reservations, but were able to snag a spot. The food was impeccable, the scenery ENCHANTING, and the staff was very nice. We had a wonderful, unforgettable evening here and would highly recommend.

More than atypical place, unique experience, excellent dishes

Went jul24. don’t take online, WhatsApp or email booking - by phone only. Don’t speak English, so booking is hard for some of us. Restaurant not sign posted, just a door bell. There is a car park but it only takes cash and Italian only instructions . An Italian friend booked over the phone for us, but when we got there, there was no sign of our booking. Kindly they managed to squeeze us in. This is an extremely local , old school restaurant- one of only a handful on the island . They produce their own red wine, but I’m afraid it wasn’t to my taste. We were served the mixed starters before sitting down and before being shown any menu. The starters consisted of four or five mixed courses including mussels and tomato sauce, pizza, bread and mozzarella with tomatoes. we were presented a menu for the main course and I ordered pasta with a fillet steak. However a sirloin steak arrived which was a lower price point on the menu, however they still charged the price of the fillet steak. Steak was under-seasoned - tried asking for salt and pepper a few times but it didn’t arrive, so steak went uneaten. In summary a fantastically beautiful and local restaurant though quite challenging for non-Italian speakers.

Such a unique experience! A must visit in Ischia! I would recommend a taxi because the entrance is vague. Cash only as well.

Family experience in this garden of times gone by, good traditional Campania cuisine. Excellent entertainment, we had a lot of fun

Very retro place, quality of the dishes not up to expectations, waiting times for the first courses from the appetizer around two and a half hours. After eating this we preferred to leave the place. Another flaw and I think the worst is that they don't have a sign and they don't accept electronic payments, only cash, and they don't issue a receipt!!! Everyone talks about it for better or for worse but apparently no one is going to check this situation!!!! We definitely won't be going back and we won't be inviting anyone to go.

AUTHENTIC, MAGICAL FOOD AND SPOT

Trattoria un po’ nascosta, ma che si rivela un tesoro quando scovata. Si mangia tanto e bene a prezzi giusti. Sia in famiglia, che in coppia che con amici mi trovo sempre bene e mi diverto moltissimo a cantare (se ci andate scoprirete perché). Non perdetevi questa perla se passate per Ischia.
