We had an appetizer of hot arrosticini and chips, and two gnocchi with sauce for the kids. Service was prompt, the meat arrosticini were good, but the liver ones could be better. The mutton alla callara was a really good appetizer. The Montepulciano wine by the carafe was good.

I've had the opportunity to try countless arrosticini places in Abruzzo, but this one beats them all. Without a doubt, the best arrosticini I've ever eaten. All hand-carved, using the highest-quality meat.

Impeccable service, very efficient despite the crowds. Everything was excellent, from the appetizers to the arrosticini and then the desserts. I will definitely be back.

27/09/2025: Dropped into Maude today unannounced for a tasting. When asked by Lewis if we had a booking, I said I didn’t realise we needed one. He was a most gracious, generous and convivial host. He squeezed us in and made our visit an experience we’ll never forget. His wine recommendations were exquisite and on point. Highly recommend this cellar door. Thanks Lewis. Much appreciated.

Everything was impeccable: from the presentation of the dishes, meticulously crafted and aesthetically beautiful, to the excellent quality of the dishes.
