I'm in Lucca for a few days and was recommended this restaurant for lunch, which I highly recommend. I thank Mrs. Alina and the staff for their courtesy and compliments on the excellent dishes. We'll definitely be back.

Magnificent restaurant, delicious and abundant dishes. We chose seafood carbonara, mixed fried fish, and peppered mussels. Amazing to say the least. Our guests, Jessica, our waiter. We recommend it and will return even though we live far away.

Pizzeria Ristorante La Rocca

24/08/2025: We went to dinner at this pizzeria, drawn by the varied menu and wide selection. We were immediately greeted by very kind and friendly staff, and the service was also fast and impeccable. We ordered pizza, tempted by the beautiful wood-fired oven inside. As for the ingredients, they seemed to be of excellent quality, including the very fresh cooked ham, but the tomato sauce on the pizza tasted more like preserves. It was a shame, however, that the dough was rather rubbery. The Margherita was chewy and lacking in flavor, while the Quattro Formaggi was much better, more flavorful but still with a fairly heavy dough. The specialty pizzas, with more toppings that make up for the blandness, are definitely much better. The atmosphere is simple but spacious, and can accommodate large tables. It's quite quiet, easy to reach, and a short walk from the center of Castelnuovo.
22/08/2025: We had a great time... good pizza, fast service, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere... when we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

08/09/2025: An immense pizza menu with a combination of ingredients you've never encountered before. The pizza is incredibly thin and crispy. I'd definitely recommend making a reservation. The staff is young and friendly.
28/08/2025: This unique pizzeria is highly recommended. The pizzas are incredibly delicious. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and there are no decimal places, which is rare these days. The service is very friendly; they even tried to speak German with us when we paid. I would happily eat there again.
