One of the absolute best restaurants, not just in Calabria... Superb hospitality from the owners, Michele and his son, humble and kind. Quality food, beautiful to look at, excellent on the palate. Generous portions. Not mass-produced food. The fine restaurants of the past, in step with the times but authentic and beautiful in every way. Praise.

A good experience overall! Positive points: The food, the dishes are very good, and the fish is fresh! The servers are friendly and responsive! Negative points: The dining room is very noisy; it feels like a cafeteria... you can't hear yourself speak. Also, the service is too fast; you haven't even finished your antipasto before they bring you the next course! You feel like you have to eat quickly so the table can be set again for other customers! It's a shame.

Cucina di pesce definitiva, qualità del cibo eccellente, pesce fresco e i piatti molto saporiti. Personale cortese e scherzoso, ti mettono a tuo agio in tempo zero e ti fanno godere il pasto in allegria. Vasta scelta di ingredienti per tutti i palati, con particolare riguardo nel nostro caso, hanno fatto un antipasto apposta per mia moglie in gravidanza. Assolutamente consigliato se volete mangiare pesce di qualità e in simpatia.

11/08/2025: We had dinner on a Friday with a house meat appetizer and pizza. The location was very nice, the owner was very kind, and the staff was helpful. We were impressed with the quality of the food. Everything was excellent. The owner even offered us a tuna steak (excellent). I recommend this restaurant.

Chiosco Bar "La Cattolica"

07/09/2025: At this kiosk, we had a brioche with bergamot gelato and fig granita. The bergamot gelato was amazing!! The flavor was delicate, but you could still taste the bergamot. The fig granita was the fruit!! During our vacation in Calabria, we tried bergamot gelato several times, and we weren't thrilled because it always had an aftertaste of..."detergent"... My advice is to try the bergamot gelato from the La Cattolica kiosk, and then tell me... ;)
03/09/2025: Stopping here, before or after visiting the Cattolica, on a beautiful day and enjoying the bergamot-infused products, from iced tea to granita, is priceless.
