La Vecchia Fontana In Solferino

Nice place and very kind staff.

Found by chance while visiting Solferino, this restaurant deserves a special review for its welcome, the friendliness of the owners, and of course for the food, which is truly excellent, in satisfying quantities, and at fair prices. Special mention goes to the bread, homemade in a wood-fired oven, and the meat: the beef fillet was spectacular. And if the house wine is also good, what more could you ask for?

The food was decent, but nothing that would make me return. The service was inattentive. A bit pricey for what we got.

A lovely spot in the Solferino square, attentive service, and a good selection of à la carte menu and wines. Save room for dessert 🍰. They also serve pizza at lunchtime.
