Amazing place! The paninis are absolutely delicious — definitely some of the best I’ve ever had. The draft beer selection is excellent, probably the best in town. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommended! 🍺🔥

I went with a friend of mine to eat and we got 2 cheeseburgers. My friend had asked for it with mayonnaise instead of ketchup and they brought it to her as she had asked. The service was impeccable, everyone was very kind and the environment was very clean and tidy. It's worth going there.

Changes in ownership, changes in look, changes in staff: despite the many changes it's undergone over the course of its long history, the Paninoteca Trieste remains—and long live, I might add—a landmark for the people of Nicastro. My sister and her generation, for example, had adopted it as a favorite; a friend told me that he and many others celebrated numerous events there, and if I hadn't left Lamezia Terme when I was little more than a child, I probably would have spent many evenings there too.
Putting aside the ifs and buts and focusing on the facts, I happened to return several times this fall during my stay in the city. I found an atmosphere that can easily rival that of certain London pubs: not too swanky, but not too casual either. With one substantial difference, however: here there's a remarkable selection of sandwiches, at decidedly affordable prices, along with an excellent selection of beers, both on tap and in bottles.
Of the Trieste I remembered, its accessibility and welcoming spirit remain; In Trieste today, I discovered a warm atmosphere and a staff that was friendly and playful just right. All these elements, in a successful balance of taste, company, and fond memories, make this place more than just a restaurant: a small, yet important, point of reference.

A welcoming pub with friendly and helpful staff. I had a truly delicious sandwich, made with quality ingredients, at a very reasonable price. Excellent value. Highly recommended!
