La Tramontana In Mafalda

I was a guest at the Tramontana farmhouse for work. A truly beautiful place, hospitable and friendly owners, excellent food, clean, tidy and quiet rooms, a farmhouse worth visiting.

Very nice farmhouse, I recommend the exceptional house appetizer and very good cavatelli with ventricina!

Today, the owner (or at least the lady who welcomed us) was definitely feeling off... they weren't welcoming even on the phone to make a reservation. When we arrived, we waited 10 minutes before anyone came to greet us. There was no paper menu, just everything spoken (so we don't know the price). We ordered two mixed meat appetizers (the only choice) and two tagliatelle with ragù. The appetizers were good, but we didn't really like the ragù sauce. My husband's first course arrived very late, and when we asked for it, she said, "There's only one person in the kitchen, they can't work miracles!" We only drank water. One espresso with a splash of alcohol. We spent €50 without a receipt or anything... While I was waiting to pay, the same lady was arguing with two people (probably workers who worked for them) and didn't even apologize for making me witness it. Bad days happen, but when you're in the public eye, you still have to smile!

Friendly and professional staff. Excellent traditional dishes. I recommend the paella, but reservations are required.

A truly welcoming agriturismo, thanks both to the friendly staff and the warm hospitality of the Mafalda residents, who are committed to providing guests with an unforgettable experience. Everything is delicious: from the mixed antipasti with grilled cheese to the handmade pasta dishes. I highly recommend the ventricina sauce!

This is my all-time favorite place to eat! The food is ah-mazing! Service is great and the atmosphere is full of local flavor! If you want the real Italian experience, Mafalda is a village that completely delivers. This restaurant never disappoints. I dream of it all year until I can get back!

Bei Michelina und Leonardo haben wir ein unvergessliches Mittagessen erlebt – einfach sensationell! Alles war hausgemacht, selbst der Prosecco. Obwohl wir oft in Italien unterwegs sind, zählt dieses Mahl definitiv zu den besten, die ich je genießen durfte. Darüber hinaus gibt es dort einen großen Festsaal, perfekt für Feiern. Wer also auf dem Weg nach Pescara ist, sollte unbedingt einen Zwischenstopp einlegen. Und wer möchte, kann vor Ort sogar übernachten – das werden wir bei unserem nächsten Besuch ganz sicher tun!
