My group of women and I had dinner at this restaurant during the Salento walk, but compared to many others we tried along the way, it didn't have a good score for either food or service. 🤪

We spent a pleasant evening overlooking the sea, it was the first time and we will probably return, excellent tasty appetizers and fish-based first courses, the fried fish was delicious, crispy and golden, the tuna steak was also good. Prices are average, highly recommended.

We had dinner at La Torre in Santa Cesarea. We had seafood linguine, grilled octopus on a bed of potatoes with leek cream, and a seafood salad. All the dishes were well-cooked, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients. The location is pleasant and the atmosphere relaxing. The service was friendly, if a little slow, but overall a positive experience.

An excellent experience, which is why we treat ourselves often. The welcome was warm, the service good. The dishes were delicious, prepared with care and skill. The appetizers were exquisite, and the portions of all courses were generous. Highly recommended. The price was more than reasonable.

22/08/2025: Top service, good food. If they updated the place a little, it would be excellent. Highly recommended. We were hungry after a day at the beach, so we each ordered a plate—several veal cutlets, pasta dishes, etc., with lots of fries in the center—for 15 euros each. We were also pleased with the more than generous portions.
17/08/2025: Very good and well-prepared food. The service is a little slow, but it's worth it.

Anime sante ITTITURISMO

07/12/2025: ...we happened upon it by chance, and found a truly lovely little place. The dining room was small but welcoming, the staff friendly, and the food truly excellent. I was pleasantly surprised that they denied my request for fried fish... simply because the daily catch was different... What was served was delicious, especially the mackerel parmigiana. We'll be back soon. Thank you so much.
28/11/2025: Anime Sante is poetry. It's the sea on your plate and the fire in Rocco's eyes, sharing his life with the sea. It's the kindness in the faces smiling from the glass of the open kitchen. It's the care and kindness of the young woman serving at the table. Anime Sante is an authentic place, like very few others these days. And it's also something more: an experience that's hard to explain if you don't go, but once you do, it stays with you, like a sense of nostalgia.
