Magical atmosphere, as you imagine in a film of the sweet life shot in these magnificent villages and places High quality of the steak (1.5kg). Even the cold cuts appetizer. Highly recommended

A very inviting place from the outside. Unfortunately the food and especially the drinks are way too overpriced. The waiter probably just goes down to the basement to laugh and the waitress was so arrogant that it really spoiled our last evening in Italy. Men should drink their 0.3 liter beer for 8 euros from a wine glass. Incredible.

For certain places the evaluations must go beyond the quality of the food, which also satisfied me, both in the products used and in the presentation. We spent a couple of hours at the table, served, advised and pampered as best we could! Congratulations for your attention, never taken for granted and therefore always well accepted. We'll be back

Three stars is the right rating. The food is good but not so good value that you would spend that much money. The location is enchanting! A dream! The owner (I think he is the one who serves the tables) is on average friendly and helpful. The girl on the other hand is really pretty. Perfect to try (once) if you want to dine by candlelight in a romantic and serene environment.

A place a guarantee! I have been coming on holiday to Tuscany for twenty years and I absolutely cannot miss out on my fixed stop: The painter's tavern. First choice dishes of excellent quality, always accompanied by the friendly and welcoming service of the great Giuseppe, who adds praise to a five-star dinner. They have also opened a restaurant in Lugano, and from October, they will open another one in Monte Carlo which I will definitely not miss.

Cena con ottimi prodotti,cibo di qualità, personale estremamente cortese e disponibile. Una location tranquillissima e molto intima,ci hanno fatto accomodare in un angolo immerso nel verde, bellissimo ed intimo. Siamo nella culla del vino toscano,si trovano bottiglie di svariati prezzi, alcune anche piuttosto importanti. Noi ci siamo fatti consigliare,scelta azzeccatissima. Prezzi assolutamente in linea se si considera in toto,location,cibo,vino e servizio. Consigliato,noi torneremo sicuramente

07/08/2024: For me it is the best restaurant in San Teodoro or at least the one where you eat better. I had dinner twice with the family and on both occasions my spaghetti with clams was very good, the same goes for the calamarata. Prices in general in San Teodoro are quite high so in my opinion this aspect is negligible as the restaurant is in line with the prices of the others. I have also been to dinner in several other restaurants, even those with thousands of reviews and higher ratings, but this is the one where the food is best

06/06/2024: I give two stars to the service for its slowness, 30 minutes of waiting for an appetizer (cold cuts and fried pie), 60 minutes for a trio of first courses (NO risotto). The rest 5 stars. We complained, they apologized, but it's right to write it because we need to be careful
01/06/2024: Osteria immersed in the Po Valley. Good experience of food and courtesy. I appreciated the fried gnocco with puffy and very thin dough very much together with the good and fragrant cured meats. I found the second courses (duck, bacon) well cooked, with hints and flavors well mixed.
