La Taverna del Duca In Licata

A very good restaurant specializing in fish and seafood. The service is friendly, competent, and unobtrusive. The interior is pleasant and air-conditioned. For me, one of the best restaurants in Licata. It wasn't our first visit, and certainly won't be our last.

We had dinner 2 times in a row. Very fresh fish and excellently cooked. They served us bruschetta with exceptional sea urchins, wonderful linguine with scampi and a very good mixed grill. Impeccable service. Congratulations!!

We went there because we were attracted by the many positive reviews. It was a Monday, and there were only four guests in the restaurant. Service: mediocre to poor. After placing our order, we had to wait over 20 minutes for our drinks. A mammoth task with four guests. The manager was at the front of the counter, busy on his cell phone. It seemed as if he'd rather not have any customers at all. Friendliness isn't the answer. Since my wife speaks the language, she politely asked about drinks. Suddenly, he was friendliness personified. Food: As is customary, we ordered two courses, although one would have been perfectly sufficient. My wife had the spaghetti (homemade) with seafood, and I had farfalle in a delicious tomato cream. For the second course, we both had wafer-thin veal escalopes in a lemon sauce. The food deserves more than 5 stars. Unfortunately, I have to deduct one star due to the poor service.

Passing through Licata, a seaside town, we decide to book at Taverna del Duca, a place that in my opinion is very intimate and welcoming, exceptional service not found in other restaurants in Sicily, excellent cuisine from appetizers to desserts with honest quality and price. I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant if you find yourself in Licata

Grilled Fish very fresh sublime the swordfish melted in the mouth. Almond parfait delicious. Impeccable service. Second time I come after years and I will definitely return to delight in other dishes.

Simply the best of Licata, the pasta, the fish, absolutely everything they do, they just do it excellent.

We came across it by chance during a motorcycle ride. We trusted the excellent reviews and had lunch at this restaurant. Excellent quality and fresh fish. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful birthday party at this restaurant! The staff is very helpful and offer good advice. This restaurant definitely deserves a good rating, and it's normal to have to wait a little while if it's busy. We recommend it.

Very good food! The taste is unbeatable, and the restaurant is beautiful and clean. The service was attentive and friendly! We'd be happy to go back!

To be honest, this visit was a bit disappointing. The ambiance is good and lovely, and the waiters were friendly. The main course was decent (risotto with seafruits and spaghetti with vegetables). The desert, however (Panna cotta and Tiramisu) came straight from the supermarket. My Tiramisu even came in a plastic cup which, to be honest, was totally out of sync with the ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant. Reading the other reviews of this place though, I guess it was a one-time occurrence and not the standard for this restaurant
