Stunning location… extremely helpful staff… excellent quality food… excellent wine selection… and finally, the maître d', Guglielmo, is the best: extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly nice!!

First time at Taverna, and the experience deserves 5 shining stars in every way.
Guglielmo, the dining room captain, guides the diners' palates admirably. There's no overpowering flavor, and delicacy reigns supreme in every course. The professional yet friendly service brightens the table. A special mention goes to the salmon ravioli in a red coat with caviar and shrimp, rated 10 on the plate!
Taverna di Vico truly deserves a place among life's true pleasures.

Seafood dinner with friends.
Beautiful location, a renovated former convent with a garden and terrace and a well-appointed interior.
We ate outside; the service was excellent, led by a knowledgeable and friendly maître d'.
The appetizers, first courses, and second courses were well-presented and tasty.
They lost a bit in the presentation and flavor of the desserts... passable, but not up to the standard of the dinner.
The only negative, but not reflected in the bill, was the warm Coke brought to the table without ice in the glass.
Definitely worth trying again.

A charming restaurant in the village of Vico nel Lazio, with an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The food is exquisitely prepared, with portions that leave you more than satisfied. Impeccable service, with maître d' Guglielmo guiding you flawlessly without being intrusive. The prices are truly excellent for the quality of the dishes. An experience worth trying.

Alla Taverna del castello si percepisce fin da subito un’atmosfera perfettamente bilanciata tra professionalità e cordialità, grazie al direttore di sala e a tutto il personale, sempre attenti, discreti e genuinamente accoglienti.
La location è di alto livello: la corte esterna, incastonata all’interno delle mura storiche di Vico nel Lazio, regala una splendida vista aperta sulla valle ciociara. Anche gli interni sono curati nei minimi dettagli: eleganti, pulitissimi e attrezzati con premura, anche per le famiglie, grazie alla presenza di un fasciatoio nell’antibagno.
Quanto al cibo… semplicemente eccellente. Ogni piatto nasce da materie prime di alta qualità, trattate con grande rispetto e maestria. Le presentazioni sono impeccabili, e ogni portata è accompagnata da una spiegazione approfondita che ne illustra ingredienti, lavorazioni e ispirazioni. Un vero valore aggiunto per chi ama vivere la cucina in modo consapevole e coinvolgente.
La carta dei vini è molto fornita e offre scelte interessanti e mai banali.
Mi sono affidato più voltre al direttore di sala che con sensibilità e competenza mi ha sempre guidato verso abbinamenti perfetti, su misura per gusti personali.
In sintesi, un’esperienza gastronomica intensa e autentica.
Un luogo dove tornare, certi di sentirsi sempre accolti e valorizzati nel migliore dei modi.

Locale ben arredato e personale subito pronto.
Buono l'antipasto di mare e
ottimi i primi sempre originali e gustosi.
Di livello anche i secondi con un'ottima spigola alle mandorle.
Molto buono il vino consigliato da Guglielmo che e' sempre presente
per ogni tipo di aiuto e anche nella scelta dei dolci e' stato di grande aiuto.
Pranzo ottimo e quindi ristorante decisamente da consigliare.
