I didn't eat here but the guys let me use to toilet all the same. I cant speak to the food but the people running the place are genuinely nice so would recommend giving it a go on that alone.

Very rustic restaurant inside the Ballarò market. If you want to eat hearty traditional Palermo dishes at honest prices, the place is highly recommended.

Trattoria where you can taste the true flavors of Palermo, homemade caponata, delicious olives with oil and anchovies, fish first courses rich in seasoning and tasty. Not to mention the typical house dishes such as pasta alla grassa and much more.
I recommend the spaghetti with red mullet and fennel, a variant of the pasta with sardines which is equally good but with a very delicate flavour.
Excellent restaurant prices.
If you pass by there, stop by, you won't regret it.

Dishes cooked according to tradition and with super affordable prices, very very friendly staff, a little hot inside but all in all tolerable compared to the temperatures outside at lunch.

Family atmosphere, good and plentiful cuisine, wonderful staff.
Inside they have air conditioning at a temperature suitable to keep you from feeling sick, outside you experience the most authentic dancing.
The result is a mix between cuisine and hospitality with a capital A.
In particular, fish and caponata are winners.

The food was very good, cheap prices and the waiters were super attentive...
We were in doubt about entering...
I recommend it, a typical Sicilian restaurant. We happened to walk by and once inside there were some Spaniards and they recommended it to us...
