Siamo stati benissimo, accolti con professionalità dal giovane e gran cerimoniere Donato, top!!!! Mangiato benissimo seguendo il percorso culinario indicatoci da Donato, dove l'ha fatta da padrone sua maestà " il fagiolo di Controne " in tutte le salse, buonissimo. Vino della casa blend di aglianico, sangiovese, merlot, ottimo. Prezzo giusto. Alla prossima. P.S . Molto carino Controne, ma soprattutto la convivialità e giovialita' dei residenti.

My wife and I went there for lunch and left really satisfied.
Genuine and zero kilometer food, or rather zero kilometer food (perhaps too abundant in oil), attentive and friendly staff and the food is really good.
Plus with really affordable prices these days.
If you want to eat typical local cuisine, not to mention the legendary FAGIOLI DI CONTRONE, genuine, with homemade pasta and at reasonable prices, then this tavern is for you, go there

We were walking along the Via Silente with some friends and, hungry before the climb to Petina, we came across this tavern. Even though it was closed, Donato welcomed us with great kindness and prepared delicious platters and dishes for us, all based on excellent local products. The welcome was truly extraordinary, a gesture that we will not easily forget.

We found ourselves thanks to the advice of a nurseryman in the area, I think that in Naples and its surroundings, for what we ate, we would have spent at least double, the staff is very welcoming and friendly, the food, well you have to try it to test it, it was all excellent, even their decomposed cake and above all their dishes with beans, ah yes, it's the tracchia, you can't forget that, everything was delicious! We will be back.

Very characteristic place, with wines and local products on display like in a pantry, good raw materials at km.0 and the Controne bean, a slow food presidium, in the center.
The local Pecorino that we tasted was also very good.
The recommended escarole and beans were very good
It's nice to see a young and very attentive and professional management in a place that has a history.
Excellent value for money
Highly recommended also on the wine!
My usual request for dried fruit at the end also passed the test of 9!!!
