We had lunch for two after a day in Villalago. We had fettuccine alla boscaiola, which was decent quality but lacked the mushroom flavor. We also had mixed roast beef, which was very thin and cold. Otherwise, it was average, with reasonable prices.

We didn't sleep at this B&B, but we ate in the restaurant below. The atmosphere is clean, the staff friendly, and the food is traditional local, with reasonable prices. Between Lake Scanno and Lake San Domenico.

We stayed a week in this property and had a wonderful time. The location is quiet and convenient, just a few meters from the center. The room was very clean and had a terrace with a beautiful view of the village. The linens were changed mid-week. The breakfast was good, not in the property but at the village bar a few meters away. The owner, Mrs. Sabrina, and her husband are wonderful people, kind and very helpful with anything you need. They make you feel at home. We will definitely be back!

15/08/2025: We just returned from a Ferragosto lunch with my husband at Trattoria Il Cacciatore in Lecce dei Marsi. It's a holiday, so the menu was set at €45 per person. We were served a traditional appetizer of really good local cured meats and cheeses. Then there were two first courses: mediocre traditional baked lasagna and fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, which I found inedible because they were so salty. Then there was the mixed roast of mutton, sausages, and lamb, which were really good, and to finish, a Nutella and watermelon sbrodolona, delicious and very sweet. The wines were excellent. Overall, we had a good time, but the first courses were mediocre. The atmosphere was spartan because we ate in a room adjacent to the main restaurant, which was full. A very neglected place that didn't live up to the expectations. Would I go back? I don't think so.
